Dear Shomrei Torah Community:

The health and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority. To that end we have made some difficult decisions effective immediately thru at least Friday, January 7th. These decisions were made in response to the coincidence of the winter holidays and the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID.

Shabbat and Daily Services:
All services will be on Zoom only with no in-person participation.   The link is available in the weekly “What’s Happening?”
 
Office:
The physical synagogue office will be closed and the staff will work remotely. Emails will continue to be answered and phone calls will be forwarded and/or returned. Please note that we will be completely closed for the legal holidays on Friday 12/24 and Friday 12/31.

School:
Our Religious school is currently on winter break. We will return remotely on Tuesday January 4th and in-person on Sunday January 9th.

Programs:
All other in-person synagogue programs have been cancelled or postponed, including “A Magical Night” which was scheduled for January 8th and Project Aviva on January 9th.  We hope to announce rescheduled dates shortly.
